TASK FORCE ON CLIMATE RELATED FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE: INSURANCE AND COMPANY REPORTING
The Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures is becoming increasingly influential, having been taken forward by insurers, applied as a requirement to the assets of pension funds, and its principles are due to be applied as a requirement to all listed companies in the UK next year. Importantly, it is an approach to influencing financial disclosures that is increasingly accepted internationally. In this further update, we set out a short note on two important recent reports.

CHEMICALS STRATEGY ON HOLD – CIA STATEMENT ON REAGENTS, BREXIT
DEFRA announced in April that the regular UK Chemical Stakeholders Forum meeting schedule for 24th June would be postponed, and that current work on the country’s Chemical Strategy would be suspended, as relevant staff were being moved to support priority work on Covid -19, on which of course everyone will wish them well.
